Modern primary care centres are staffed and equipped with all the necessary equipment and facilities to enable patients to be offered the highest quality care, and to aid the clinician in reaching the correct diagnosis.
Home visits will only be available for patients who the clinician considers are medically too ill or infirm to be brought to the practice, and will be done by the most appropriate member of the team. Lack of transport or discomfort of attending the surgery is not considered justification. We can register patients under a special home support service for those patients who need high dependency end of life care, or who are so severely disabled as to be bedridden. Please contact one of our Healthcare Coordinators if you feel you are in this position.
